Fostering an environment where genuine care flourishes team members feel engaged and development needs are supported through education.Your responsibilities will include:Leading managing and supporting Care Workers on a day-to-day basis to ensure a coordinated consistent and high-quality approach to service deliveryUndertaking consultation and regular meetings with support service specialists such as HR WHS and RTW consultants to ensure professional delivery of care worker supportFacilitating recruitment while ensuring BaptistCares policies and procedures are followedSupporting new staff through orientation buddy shifts and probationary period including the development and review of probationary performance plansAssisting Care Workers to access leave as required by working in collaboration with Roster Clerks whilst ensuring BaptistCares leave policy is followedLiaise with local external education providers (TAFE Area Health training suppliers) to assist with training programsAbout youDiploma of Community Services Human Resources or equivalent qualification knowledge and experienceCertificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalentDemonstrated experience supervising staff with the ability to lead and work as part of a teamCurrent Australian drivers licenceKnowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Quality Standards is desirableTo support your wellbeing and career growth BaptistCare offers:Salary packaging which can increase your take-home pay novated leasing options meal and entertainment cardDedicated learning and development teams committed to your skill development and supporting you in your role.Access to Employee Assistance Programs including counselling support and wellness programsAbout UsWe are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
