As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers or CNAs to join us.We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Houston TX (77091). This position requires a dog-friendly caregiver who can provide one-on-one light care.Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston TX 77091)Shifts Available: MondayFriday 9:00 AM 11:00 AM (Short Shifts)Responsibilities:Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance including medication reminders meal preparation light housekeeping and personal care (light care needs).Provide transportation for errands appointments or activities as needed (insured driver required).Monitor and track client health and well-being reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.Provide companionship and emotional support in a one-on-one care setting.Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.Communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors to ensure the best care.Requirements:Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care setting is a plus).Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.Ability to pass a background check and reference check.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy patience and compassion toward elderly clients.Must be dog-friendly (pets in the home).Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.Benefits:Competitive pay.Consistent short weekday shifts.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Supportive and caring work environment.Opportunity to work in a rewarding field that makes a difference in peoples lives.EEOC Statement:Always Best Care Senior Services Greater West Houston TX is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
