We are seeking compassionate and skilled Paraeducators, Personal Care Assistants, RBTs, and ABA-PCAs to join our Early Intervention team, supporting preschool-aged children (3-5 years) with developmental and/or learning disabilities in preschools, daycares, or home settings. Job Details:Schedule: Early Intervention hours are typically 8 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute duty-free lunch. For Pre-K/Head Start, hours may vary, and lunch is paid and eaten with children (details provided in assignments).Location: Most assignments are in one building, but some may require travel between two locations (details provided in assignments).*1099 Contractor Position*Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to children with behavioral, physical, or neurological challenges.Support the development of self-help/adaptive skills (e.g., mealtime, toileting, dressing).Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.Assist in implementing instructional strategies, collecting data, and maintaining documentation.Help prepare for and participate in daily activities, encouraging independent skills aligned with Pennsylvania Learning Standards.Collaborate with teachers and families, contribute to planning sessions, and maintain classroom upkeep.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED (required)Proof of qualifications (e.g., license, certification, transcript, resume)CPR and First Aid certifications (required)Experience with children ages 3-5 with behavioral or self-care needs (preferredClearances and Documentation:PA Criminal Record CheckPA Child Abuse ClearanceFBI Criminal History RecordArrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24)ACT 168 (Letter from agency confirming completion)ACT 126 Child Abuse & Recognition Reporting (not mandatory by State until 2018)Current tuberculosis (TB) test record Why Join Us?Discovery Therapy values its therapists, providing a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in children’s livesPowered by JazzHRiFinAwZGt1
