This role involves supporting and leading field operations on commercial and retail construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong carpentry skills and experience overseeing job sites coordinating subcontractors and managing project phases from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising daily activities on active job sitesDirect and coordinate subcontractors and field crewsUnderstand project phasing and ensure work progresses according to schedulePerform hands-on carpentry tasks including framing and finish carpentryMaintain jobsite organization safety and quality standardsCommunicate effectively with internal teams and project stakeholdersRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong background in carpentry including both framing and finish workExperience running or assisting in running construction jobsitesAbility to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple phases of constructionCommercial and retail new build/remodel experience preferredNo specific state licenses or certifications requiredWork EnvironmentIndoor work environments across various project sites in the Madison areaNo travel outside the local project radius requiredWhy JoinThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter ready to step into a leadership-focused role while continuing to work hands-on in the field.
