Case ManagerGoodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Newnan GAOur Mission Department is currently seeking a Case Manager to support and join our Thomas Crossroads Education and Training Center.Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Inc.s Case Manager responsibilities:Assists trainees in meeting their ISP (Individual Service Plans) goals by monitoring behavior following a daily training schedule actions decision-making skills communication skills and completed work assignmentsFacilitates daily class sessions on essential characteristics of being a good worker and supports job retention including (but not limited to): how to job search resume writing interviewing job retention career advancement money management organization handling stress and conflict resolutionCompletes intake paperwork before the client starts in trainingGenerates a monthly progress report for individual clientsCompletes SOAP notes and case notes based on observations of trainees in a classroom and hands-on training environmentTrains workforce development clients on daily responsibilities and hard skills in a variety of industries (retail food service customer service janitorial warehouse and administrative)Provides clients with referrals to community resources outside of the Goodwill servicesCommunicates with the referring caseworker/case manager to collaborate on the best action planMaintains knowledge and understands curriculum task outlinesResearch the clients diagnosis to plan for work accommodations properlyIndividualizes and varies training for non-traditional clientsAttends resource fairs and events to promote servicesExplores technology to create work accommodations or maximize training for people with disabilitiesOther duties as assigned by the Education and Training Center ManagerRequirements:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Counseling Psychology Social Work Education or related fieldMinimum 4 years of progressive work-related experienceAbility to think critically evaluates and make decisions without immediate supervisionBe able to support the design development and implementation of new instructional programsStrong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse populationGood driving record and a personal vehicleMasters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology Social Work or an Education field; preferredPrevious work experience in workforce development occupational skills training case management or related fieldGoodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Inc. is committed to our mission of Developing People Changing Lives and Building Communities.
