Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: Case ManagerSign On Bonus: $2,000Location: Topeka, KSPosition Summary:The Case Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive case management services to children and families, with a focus on ensuring safety, achieving permanency, and promoting overall well-being. This role involves direct engagement with clients, caregivers, and community partners to coordinate services and support.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services-related field is requiredPrevious experience working with children and family services is preferredLicensure & Certifications:Valid driver’s licenseProof of valid auto insuranceMust be at least 21 years of ageLicensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) is preferredKey Responsibilities:Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of families’ lived experiences, including factors such as trauma, poverty, developmental stages, gender, race, ethnicity, and languageEstablish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, caregivers, placement providers, the Department for Children and Families (DCF), colleagues, and other community partnersCommunicate relevant and appropriate information with families and professionals in a timely mannerProvide in-home and community-based services including:Observation of caregiver-child interactionsMaintenance and development of family and community connectionsResource coordinationOn-call crisis intervention and safety planningLife skills trainingTransportation of clientsAdministration of drug screeningsAdvocate for clients based on comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations.
