As the MSI you will be responsible for performing Maryland state inspections as well as troubleshooting issues for maximum reliability and functionality.ResponsibilitiesExamineand diagnose vehiclesDiscuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor Communicate additional service requests to the service advisorPlan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foremanProvide labor time estimates to the service advisorMonitor repair time and update the service advisor regularlyMaintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operationComplete story and/or documentation for client repairsAssist in mentoring technician traineesAttend company and factory trainingKeep current with factory technical bulletinsUnderstand and follow federal state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)Applies proper use of PPE and adheres to safety standards in the shop environment.Must keep the vehicle you are working on clean and free of grease and oilRequirementsMaryland State Inspection License RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDOne-three months of related experience and/or trainingMust be authorized to work in the USAAble to pass pre-employment background checks MVR and drug screenMust have a valid drivers license with a clean driving recordOur company maintains a strong policy of equal employment opportunity for all associates.
