Contract To Hire Cash Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a contract to hire cash accountant for our client in the downtown St. Louis area. This role is 100% onsite and offers pay ranging from $29-$33 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties:

• Manage daily cash activity, including tracking incoming funds and allocating cash to the appropriate bank accounts based on funding sources and grant requirements.
• Perform complex bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Reconcile investment accounts and ensure investment income is accurately tracked and allocated.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing reconciliations and tying balances to the general ledger.
• Analyze cash flow and assist with maintaining accurate financial records.
• Utilize Yardi and Excel to manage financial data, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Assist with additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
