Cash Counter at GENDA Americas
JOB DESCRIPTION
GENDA Americas, is the leading amusement vending service with 55,000+ machines in 15,000+ locations nationwide. We are seeking a passionate merchandiser who thrives independently and delivers results.
Kiddleton has an immediate part-time opening for the position of Cash Counter. This person will contribute to our success by operating within an office cash support role. This person is responsible for counting incoming monies and providing general office support as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Counts & verifies money received
Verifies balances on collection bags for accuracy
Endorses checks and compiles data for bank deposit
Handles over and shorts appropriately
Prepares bank deposit slips
Compiles collection, disbursement, and bank reconciliation reports
Assistance with month end paperwork
General office support as needed
Inventory, receiving, and other warehouse help as needed
Works weekends as needed
Other office duties as assigned
Regular, reliable attendance required

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational/communication skills
Previous office and/or customer service experience required
Must be a self-starter and requires minimal supervision
Computer, ten key, Excel and Word experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
Background check and drug test are required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
1-2 years prior cash handling experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate information through spoken words and sentences that others will understand
Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Strong general mathematical skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and or/move up to 50 lbs. or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
