Job Description

DescriptionCherokee Casino Ramona is looking for a Casino Custodian to join our team. This is an essential cleaning and maintenance position that operates primarily on the casino floor which involves exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. The role requires the ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment including heavy-duty floor scrubbers vacuums and extractors. Attendants must be capable of lifting objects up to 50 lbs. and are expected to follow company guidelines for cleaning and safety including the proper handling of biohazardous spills.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cleaning duties including vacuuming mopping window washing restroom and office cleaning and trash removal.Sanitize and disinfect the exterior of gaming machines chairs tables doors and other high-touch areas.Follow company guidelines for cleaning and properly disposing of biohazardous spills.Maintain a high standard of excellence in the cleaning and detailing of all work areas.Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions on the property.Clean outside areas as required and perform duties on special cleaning projects.Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment safely and effectively.QualificationsSix months of general work experience or a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
