JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title
Education: Any combination of education Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience to a bachelor's degree in business or accounting as well as training/experience in categorical program requirements. Experience: Any combination of experience that would involve four (4) years of experience of increasing responsibility, in the preparation and maintenance of financial and statistical records, accounting operations and/or budgetary operations. Knowledge of: The administration requirements of local, state and federal categorical programs and grants. Categorical Program Monitoring responsibilities for local, state and federal program requirements. ESSA reporting requirements including the Consolidated Application Parts 1 and 2, periodic expenditure reports and Title I Comparability Reporting. Monitoring inventory of categorically purchases over $500.00. Monitoring of time accounting reporting for state and federal categorically funded positions. District responsibilities and requirements for Private School Participation in ESSA. Methods and practices of financial record keeping, including journal, ledger account systems and electronic spreadsheets. General office clerical skills and practices. Accounting, bookkeeping or finance comprehension.
