Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Supply Chain Manager - System DrivesIn this role you will be responsible for Category Management at ABB High Power in New Berlin WI where you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management team.Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will develop plan and implementsourcing and procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs quality delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products & services to ensure an exceptional supply base is developed and maintained to ensure material availability and service levels to support local business and customer needs.The work model for the role is: Hybrid in New Berlin WI.Your role and responsibilities: Implement effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies. Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and futurebusiness requirements. Supplier selection and performance: TCO Savings Payment terms OTD Quality lead time budget target settings and follow up for continuous improvement. Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines. Design and implement cost-out programs and/or processes to reach annualsavings and operational cost reduction targets.Our Team DynamicsOur teams support each other collaborate and never stop learning. Proficiency with software applications such as MS-Office (e.g. Excel WordPowerPoint etc.). Experience with SAP and Ariba SSS preferred. Knowledge about electrical components and their manufacturing processespreferred. Strong data analytics with Continuous Improvement mindset. Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural global business environment. A collaborative solution-focused approach and strong written and spokencommunication skills.
