Job Description SummaryDevelop global sourcing and procurement strategies across Software and Digital Categories for Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Lead Program Management for Software Product Introductions for PCS AVS & PDx. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirement met.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering and business teams.Lead and Support Software Program LaunchesManage supplier relationships negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.Drive cost savings risk mitigation and sustainability initiatives.Lead or support supplier transitions audits and performance evaluations.Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.Ensure compliance with internal policies quality systems and legal requirements.Provide leadership and mentorship to team membersSupport global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.Required QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain or a related field.4 years of experience in sourcing procurement or category management.Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance.Strong analytical communication and project management skills.Experience working in a matrixed global organization.Desired CharacteristicsExpertise in working with SoftwareStrong leadership and influencing skills.Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.#LI-CH3We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

For U.S. based positions only the pay range for this position is $96000.00-$144000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills qualifications experience and addition this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
