Offering an unmatched 360-degree solution set for a collection of world-class owned venues and a client roster that includes the most influential highest attended arenas convention centers music festivals performing arts centers and cultural institutions on the planet.Position SummaryThe Catering Administrative Assistant works closely with the Sales Department Chef and Catering Manager to create an open flow of communication to prepare review and execute catering orders for our luxury suites and private party decks.The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability professional presentation interpersonal skills self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required.In light of the seasonal and event-driven nature of our business the position will run from now until the end of March with ability to return when event season begins again next Winter.This is a seasonal role from December 2 2025 and will end on March 31 2026.This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00-$22.00This position will remain open until March 31 2026.About the VenueOak View Group is the exclusive food beverage and merchandise provider for Salt River Fields the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies Spring Training.ResponsibilitiesEnter catering orders into the POS SystemCreate invoices and function sheetsAssist customers in placing orders and collecting payments (by phone and e-mail)Ensure that those orders are communicated to both the kitchen and delivery staff quickly and effectivelyWork closely with the Sales Department Chef and Catering Manager to prepare and review orders for completenessWork as a team player with a passion for continuous learningQualificationsAdvanced proficiency with computers in a Windows platform including Microsoft applicationsAbility to operate standard office equipment including printer copier computer and fax machineConsistent and reliable attention to detail accuracy and validityStrong written and oral communications - ability to speak and write clearly and concisely get messages across that have the desired effectAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced changing environment. Must work well under pressure of deadlinesAbility to successfully interact and collaborate with all team members professionally and supportivelyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility and willingness to work variable hours (i.e. evenings weekends holidays) as frequently required by event or business necessityStrengthened by our Differences.
