If you would like to be a part of our future team please apply now!Job Summary:The Cath lab tech will assume duties such as using electrocardiography (EKG) equipment to help detect issues with the heart or blood vessels taking patient medical histories and assisting doctors with other tasks as needed during procedures.Position Summary:Performs technical functions patient care and other daily functions of the cardiac catheterization lab the procedure room and associated areas as assigned by the director or supervisor.Monitor analyze obtain calculate and document data obtained in procedures. Alert physician to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.Assist in ordering supplies maintaining inventory cost efficiency providing appropriate information towards future needs and actively supports process improvement within the department.Explain testing procedures to patient in order to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety.Qualifications:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience Associates degree or Technical degree required.Diploma from a school of Cardiovascular Technology or graduate of a licensed Radiologic Technology schoolCath Lab experience requiredMinimum of two (2) years in a health care setting preferredKnowledge of sterile technique preferredRT with VIorCI credential preferredDemonstrates experience in establishing interpersonal relationships necessary to promote an effective working environmentLicense:RCIS RegistryORARRT LicensureBLSACLS within 90 days of hireBasic Arrhythmia within 90 days of hireInsight is an Equal Opportunity Employer & values workplace diversity!Required Experience:IC Key Skills Bidding,Imageready,Administration,Healthcare,Conveyancing Paralegal,Arabic Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
