CEI Project Administrator at STV

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments communicates effectively and has experience leading teams and managing the complexities of field-based construction projects.ABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Responsible for receiving general instructions on assignments and exercising sound judgment and initiative to resolve work-related issues. Responsible for directing and assigning tasks to both administrative and field personnel supporting coordination across all phases of the construction project. Responsible for reviewing progress estimates and final estimates for accuracy and compliance throughout the duration of the project. Ability to work independently anticipate project needs and collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with project specifications timelines and FDOT standards. Capable of maintaining accurate and organized project documentation including meeting minutes RFIs submittals and field reports.EXPERIENCE:For Candidates with either their Engineering Engineering Technology or Construction Management degrees: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive engineering experience on transportation-related construction projects A Masters Degree in Engineering Engineering Technology or Construction Management may be substituted for one (1) year of experienceFor personnel without Engineering Engineering Technology or Construction Management degrees: Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience Two (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projects.QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS:Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire provided that this position works under the supervision and direction of a Senior Project Engineer all other requirements for the position are met and a training plan is submitted detailing when the qualifications/certifications will be obtained.
