Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBEHAVIOR HEALTH TECHNICIAN(BHT-ABA) / REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)Matrix was founded by parents of two children with special needs. ResponsibilitiesProvides face-to-face behavioral interventions to implement Individualized Treatment PlansDelivers and models treatment interventionsProvides positive reinforcement to the clients with guided feedback to familiesImplements consequences for inappropriate actions as agreed uponCommunicates with peers and co-workers and exchanges information which is important in achieving the individual goals for the clientsCompletes all required electronic billing in accordance with company policiesCommunicates and works with BC-ABA and BCBA on implementation of treatment programs, including social programs and VB-MAPPHours will include center-based location but can also include home/school/community settings based on the need for hours in caseload.QualificationsHave a certification as a BCaBA, RBT, OR Have a bachelor's degree and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.Must have a PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, valid Driver's License.BenefitsCompetitive hourly wageMedical (up to 80% of health premium covered by Matrix)/Vision/Dental401KPaid Time OffFlexible SchedulingPerformance BonusesTuition ReductionPaid HolidaysBCBA/LPC SupervisionStaff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs.
