Youll be responsible for cleaning inspecting assembling and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment used throughout the facility making sure everything that reaches the operating room or patient care area is safe functional and ready to go.This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands that behind every clean instrument is a patient depending on it.What Youll DoClean decontaminate inspect assemble and sterilize instruments and equipment according to the manufacturers instructions for use (IFU)Maintain and restock supplies to ensure departments have what they need for patient careKeep accurate records for sterilization and quality assurance processesCommunicate effectively with nurses surgical techs and other team members to support daily operationsDemonstrate professionalism accountability and a strong attention to detailWork independently while managing time and resources efficientlyTake on other duties as needed to support safe smooth department operationsWhat Were Looking ForEducation: Posthigh school training or specialized education required; Central Processing course completion preferredExperience: Preferred one (1) year of experience in Central Processing Surgery or a similar environment.Skills:Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilitiesComfort working in a busy high-stress environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work effectively with a diverse team and patient populationCertifications:Preferred: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)Why Join UsYoull be part of a team that takes pride in excellence safety and teamwork.
