Central Scheduling Representative (CSR)Location: BroomallOrganization: Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to ShoulderOverviewPremier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder is seeking a dedicated and skilled Central Scheduling Representative (CSR) to join our team in Havertown. Join our team and receive full training to grow in your role.Position SummaryThe Central Scheduling Representative (CSR) is responsible for registering patients and scheduling appointments over the telephone while delivering service with a smile. This position requires a person with outstanding customer service skills. You must be patient and empathetic while being efficient accurate and effective when registering patients and routing to the preferred physician in the preferred office. This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.Key ResponsibilitiesScreen patients to determine urgency and schedule appointments within appropriate timeframesConduct patient interviews and enter accurate information into the patient management systemCoordinate appointments for 19 physicians across 16 office locations in Pennsylvania and New JerseyVerify insurance acceptance and advise patients on requirements such as referrals authorizations and co-paysConfirm appointments and respond to patient inquiries courteously and accuratelyMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsAssist other departments as needed when time permitsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience:Patient registration experience preferredCustomer service experience required (call center retail hospitality etc.)Medicare experience preferredExperience with private health insurance and workers compensation preferredExperience coordinating appointments and managing patient scheduling in a clinical environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak confidently and professionally to patients families providers and staffProficient in medical software and EMR systems; strong data entry and accuracy skillsAbility to multitask prioritize and manage multiple phone lines efficientlySelf-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively within a teamStrong decision-making problem-solving and organizational skillsDemonstrated professionalism empathy and patient-centered approachBilingual (Spanish) a plus but not requiredReliable work ethic and excellent attendanceCompensation & BenefitsComprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision plans100% employer-paid life insurance401(k) with employer matchBenefits begin the first of the month following hire date (for full-time employees)Generous paid sick and vacation time7 paid holidays annuallyOpportunities for growth and advancementEmployee referral reward programAbout Premier Orthopaedics & Philadelphia Hand to ShoulderPremier Orthopaedics delivers expert treatment for orthopedic injuries joint disease interventional spine care regenerative medicine and comprehensive physical therapy services supported by more than 150 providers across 50 locations.
