Live the MissionPosition SummaryThe Central Supply Director ensures that appropriate supplies and equipment are available for the Nursing department in order to reach optimal patient care at the best pricing in accordance with all applicable laws regulations and Life Care standards.Education Experience and Licensure RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalentKnowledge of medical technology preferredSpecific Job RequirementsMinimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipmentBasic computer skillsMake independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws regulations and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs goals objectives policies and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates vendors etc.Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life CaresCode of Conductand completes mandatoryCode of Conductand other appropriate compliance trainingEssential FunctionsOrder all supplies and equipment required by nursing staff with approval from managementStore inventory in an orderly neat fashion to prevent expiration and contaminationPerform weekly and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are maintainedReceive label stock and distribute supplies from vendorsServe as facility apparel coordinator (orders and returns of uniforms)Stay current with vendor lists and buying groupsExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsAssist in the evacuation of patientsDemonstrate dependable regular attendanceConcentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentCommunicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamSit stand bend lift push pull stoop walk reach and move intermittently during working hoursRead write speak and understand the English languageAn Equal Opportunity EmployerRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Children Activity,Environmental,Access,IT Security,Manual Testing,Logistics Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
