Troubleshootprocess problems and provide technical support to manufacturing to ensuretimely delivery of conforming core products to downstream processes. Engageswith process & product engineers within the core technical team as well asthe casting team!HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)Applies processknowledge, basic engineering principles, previous experience, and creativity asvital to develop processes and parameters that result in the production of corematerial that meets internal requirements and cores that meet customer specificationsReviews requirements anddevelops processes and documentation to achieve themEstablishes, maintains,and presents statistical process control in assigned areasMonitors yield andthroughput in assigned areas, collaborating with process and product colleaguesas well as other departments to tackle challengesCollaborates withappropriate teams to implement improvements (efficiency, safety, yield) andwith training team to develop efficient and effective training contentProvides technicaldirection to the team on equipment and processes in assigned areasWhatYou Bring (requirements)A bachelor's degree orequivalent experience in Materials Science is requiredMinimum 3 yearsexperience in ceramic manufacturing, (investment casting preferred)Experience in ceramiccore manufacturing for investment casting, with knowledge of thermal processingas an advantage; ability to develop detailed work instructions and providetraining is required.Skilled in reading andinterpreting blueprints, technical procedures, customer specifications, andregulatory documents, with experience in writing reports, manuals, and businesscorrespondence for multifaceted audiences.Proficient inprobability, statistical inference, and practical applications of fractions,percentages, ratios, and proportions, enabling accurate data analysis andproblem-solving.Proficient in MicrosoftOffice applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the skillsvital to handling technical documentation and presentations optimally.Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without the need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
