Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Position: Certified Math Teacher - $ 750 Sign On Bonus!Location: Philadelphia, PA 19134Description:Birch Agency is seeking Math Teachers to join our teamWe are currently seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher for Middle School to prepare and/or supervise students in Philadelphia PA, for the 2025/2026 school year. You will be responsible for teaching these subjects in accordance with the schools curriculum and guidelines. The objective is to create an environment that fosters the development of students math skills and allows them to learn from diverse sources while also nurturing their individualities.Responsibilities:Provide a thorough preparation of the material for the final exam.Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other documentation as needed.Implement the teaching methods and materials in a practical manner to address individual students needs and progress as they mature.Provide individualized attention to each student, encouraging them to develop their math skills and personalities.Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.Collaborate with colleagues on projects and activities.Prepare reports, presentations, assignments etc. as needed.Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development programs.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field preferred but not required.Must have PDE certified Math TeacherPrevious experience teaching students in mathematics preferred but not required (preferred but not required).Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues.
