We’re seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing healthcare team in Tampa, FL.

In this role, you may support OBGYN, Primary Care, Neurology, Urology, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Spanish fluency is required when supporting Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics, making this an excellent opportunity for bilingual professionals seeking meaningful, patient-facing work.

This is a direct-hire, full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule and comprehensive benefits starting Day One.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion
• Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in Epic EMR
• Assist providers during exams, treatments, and procedures across multiple specialties
• Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)
• Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
• Support front-office functions including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and equipment
• Float between clinic locations throughout Tampa, as assigned
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, AHMG, and all clinical regulations
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, providers, and care teams
• Support the organization’s mission and values in every patient interaction

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current MA certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
• Experience in one or more of the following: OBGYN, Primary Care, Neurology, Urology, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Epic EMR experience (required)
• Willingness to work in one office and/or float across Tampa-area locations
• Spanish fluency required for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine assignments
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical setting
