Role Description

This is a full-time Certified Medical Assistant role based on-site in Lees Summit, MO. The Certified Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers with daily clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include supporting patient care, updating medical records, managing surgeons calendars, Surgery Scheduling for multiple Surgeons at multiple locations, obtaining prior authorizations for patients surgery, completing all necessary documents and ensuring the use of proper medical terminology in all documentation and communication. The role is critical to maintaining a high level of operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. Work at a team player

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience in a Medical Office setting and familiarity with administrative tasks
• Strong skills in Patient Care and handling day-to-day interactions with patients
• Ability to update, manage, and organize Medical Records accurately and efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Prior experience in surgical or healthcare settings is a must
