Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: Maryville TN 37804 Job Type: Contract Shift: Day 7:30 AM 5:00 PM Pay Range: $22$28 per hourPosition Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient or clinic environment. The CMA will work closely with healthcare providers to prepare patients assist with clinical procedures perform routine medical tasks and support efficient patient care. The ideal candidate delivers compassionate high-quality care while adhering to clinical standards and safety protocols.Responsibilities:Greet and prepare patients for exams documenting vital signs medical history and chief complaints.Assist providers with patient assessments minor procedures and clinical tasks as needed.Perform routine clinical duties such as injections blood draws (if permitted) EKGs specimen collection and point-of-care testing.Accurately document patient information in the EMR system and maintain up-to-date records.Manage administrative tasks including scheduling patient check-in/out and coordination of referrals.Maintain exam room readiness by stocking supplies disinfecting surfaces and ensuring equipment functionality.Educate patients on medications follow-up instructions and basic health management.Follow infection control guidelines safety protocols and regulatory requirements.Support efficient clinical workflow through timely communication and coordination with the care team.Qualifications:Required:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.Active CMA certification (AAMA AMT NCMA RMA or equivalent).Current BLS certification.Preferred:Prior outpatient or clinic experience.Experience with EMR systems (Epic Cerner or similar).For more details contact at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
