The individual in this position is responsible for promoting efficiency increasing access and improving outcomes within the practice through administrative support to programs and providing patient support to services during afterhours. Staff members are expected to maintain clinical competencies and support the collection of data related to patient and staff satisfaction quality of care and operational efficiency. While functioning as an integral team member the individual will serve as a liaison between the Hospice leadership frontline caregivers and patients. Primary responsibilities will vary depending on the specific sub-team to which the staff member is assigned. Staff may also have secondary team assignments based on coverage requirements ongoing training and seasonal volume fluctuationsCandidates should be comfortable using various technology platforms.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsWhile functioning as an integral team member the individual will serve as a liaison between the Hospice leadership frontline caregivers and patients. Diploma from a Medical Assistant program required Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required. Qualifying certifications/registrations: CMA (AAMA) NCMA (NCCT) RMA (AMT) CCMA (NHA) and NRCMA (NAHP)Properly navigates through the patient chart to respond to questions presented during phone encounters.Completes and/or prepares patient refill requests using network refill policies and protocols.Prioritize and complete patient call messages. Alert appropriate Triage team on critical symptom messages.Communicates with appropriate management or staff to ensure identified problems are resolved.Other Inbasket items as assignedProperly navigates through the work queues to bereavement services and regulatory requirements.1-2 weeks of mandatory daytime orientation Key Skills Bidding,Apps,Benefits,Corporate Recruitment,Android Development Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
