We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy and growing OBGYN practice in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to women across all stages of life.

This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule and comprehensive benefits starting on Day One.

🌎 Bilingual in Spanish is required for this position.

🚗 Must be comfortable traveling between two clinic locations in the Tampa area.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and OBGYN procedures with professionalism and compassion
• Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in Epic EMR
• Assist providers during exams, including pelvic exams, prenatal visits, and in-office procedures
• Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)
• Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and readiness for women’s health procedures

Administrative & Clinic Support

• Assist with scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out when needed
• Travel between two clinic locations as scheduled to support patient care needs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, clinical regulations, and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (required)
• OBGYN or women’s health experience preferred
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be comfortable traveling between two Tampa-area clinic locations
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
