We are seeking individuals with varying levels of industrial maintenance skills and experience for our wood manufacturing plant Boaz, Alabama. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Industrial maintenance experience in a wood manufacturing facility is an asset, but not a requirement
- Adaptable to changes in work schedules or tasks; willingness to pitch in
- Physically able to perform tasks in year-round indoor/outdoor environment with varying conditions
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Some electrical and/or welding skills are an asset
- A proven track record of adhering to safety is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and perform work effectively
- Keeping downtime to a minimum
- Troubleshooting machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjusting machinery and repairing
- Ensuring safety devices function properly; compliance with workplace safety policies and regulations
- Communicating with team members and management
- Provide tools of the trade (specialty tools will be provided)
