Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at HRESG Hires

Position Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff within a fast-paced hospital environment. This role focuses on delivering safe efficient and compassionate care while assisting with daily activities and clinical tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting repositioning and feeding. Measure and record vital signs including temperature pulse blood pressure oxygen saturation and respiration rate. Assist with patient mobility: turning transferring ambulating and transporting patients to diagnostic tests or procedures. Support nurses with specimen collection patient monitoring and basic clinical duties as directed. Maintain patient safety by following fall-prevention protocols and reporting any changes in condition immediately. Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean organized and restocked. Provide comfort measures to patients including answering call lights promptly and offering emotional support. Document patient care accurately in the hospitals charting system. Follow all hospital policies infection control standards and HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state. Hospital experience preferred but strong LTC or clinical experience may be accepted depending on the facility. Current CPR/BLS certification (required for hospital settings). Ability to work in a high-acuity fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and assist with patient mobility. Schedule & Work Environment: Shifts may include 12-hour days or nights weekends and holidays based on hospital needs. Work involves constant movement patient interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
