Job Description

Claiborne Senior Living LLC in Meridian Mississippi is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a full-time hourly basis. As a CNA you will provide direct care and support to our senior residents assisting them with daily living activities and maintaining their overall physical and emotional well-being. This is an individual contributor role working closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.Benefits for all employees include:Double time on major holidaysfree employee mealsup to 1000K employee referral bonus with no limit on how many you can referinstant access to your pay in between paychecksBenefits for full-time employees include:Medical dental and visionup to 3 weeks PTO in first yearEmployer paid life insuranceEmployee assistance programLT & ST disability insuranceCritical Illness insuranceAccident insuranceResponsibilities:- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and toileting- Monitoring and recording resident vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff- Administering medications as directed by the nursing staff- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding ensuring proper nutrition and hydration- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents- Assisting with simple medical procedures such as wound care and catheterization- Communicating effectively with residents family members and other healthcare team members- Adhering to all company policies procedures and safety standardsRequirements:- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Mississippi- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred- Must have a compassionate and caring demeanor- Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with others- Basic knowledge of medical terminology- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening- Physical ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobilityEEOC Statement:Claiborne Senior Living LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
