RieLes Group is seeking an experienced Certified Phlebotomy Technician who is interested in working for the FBOP in Manchester KY. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) operates Federal Correctional Institution Manchester (FCI Manchester) a medium-security federal prison for male offenders with an adjacent minimum-security prison camp. FCI Manchester houses over one thousand inmates and is managed by FBOP under the U.S. Department of Justice. RieLes Group seeks to foster a relationship with each employee and our business partners.Certified Phlebotomy TechnicianFederal Bureau of Prisons FCI/FPC Manchester 805 Fox Hollow Road Manchester KY 40962Schedule: MondayThursday 7:00 AM3:30 PM (32 hours/week max)Position SummaryThe Certified Phlebotomy Technician supports the Health Services Unit by performing specimen collection lab processing vital signs and documentation within a correctional clinical setting. The role ensures proper preparation shipment and logging of all laboratory work in accordance with federal guidelinesKey Responsibilities:Obtain vital signs weight and scan lab results into BEMRPerform specimen collection processing packaging shipment and loggingSupport A&O DNA vaccine programs PPD testingEnsure lab reports are processed documented and filedMaintain lab manuals procedures and required certificationsAssist with CLIA recertification equipment maintenance and supply needsSupport the HSA and Clinical Director in lab policy developmentQualifications:Valid Kentucky certification as: Medical Assistant Laboratory Assistant EMT or PhlebotomistCPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)Experience with specimen collection and lab documentationExperience in correctional healthcare preferredThree letters of reference requiredMust provide resume diplomas/certificatesHealth & Security Requirements:Free of communicable diseasesMust provide TB and communicable disease testingMust pass a federal background check and comply with correctional proceduresPlease send me your most updated resume to Required Experience:IC Key Skills Laboratory Experience,Public Relations,Clinical Laboratory Experience,Classroom Experience,Ellucian,Physical Examinations,Phlebotomy,Bus Driving,Medical Terminology,CPT Coding,Patient Service Experience,Venipuncture Experience Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
