The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases. This includes gathering of all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets. The employee must be conscientious with regards to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department.
