Responsible for assisting with organization of daily activities as assigned.Job Duties:Functions as a member of the team by attending interdisciplinary team conference support meetings and other meetings as appropriateAssesses each patient family member and caregiver for spiritual needs and concerns in consultation with other team membersProvides direct chaplaincy services (when accepted) to patients family members and caregivers of different philosophies and religious perspectivesConsults if requested by patient or family the patients clergy of choice and advises them on admissionDocuments all visits and phone calls in the electronic medical record within an appropriate time frameProvides consultation counsel and support to other team members as appropriateAssists with training programs and in-service education as requestedWork is typically performed in a clinical environment.
