TOP ENR general contractor is looking for an APM for their Charleston office to support a major $850M hospital expansion project. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile joint venture project. Client Details A leading GC partnering on a landmark $850M healthcare expansion, offering exposure to one of the largest projects in the region. Known for investing in early-career talent, the company provides hands-on experience and mentorship within large, collaborative project teams. Description Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from initiation to completion. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Communicate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project progress. Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing updates and reports as required. Support the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards on all project sites. Identify and resolve project challenges in collaboration with the project team. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Profile A successful Assistant Project Manager (APM) should have: A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Early career PM/APM experience Strong organizational skills Interest in healthcare construction Team-oriented mindsetStrong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to work effectively with teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of construction safety and regulatory standards. A proactive approach to ensuring project success and meeting deadlines.
