This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, managerial skills, and passion for hospitality in a vibrant setting.DutiesLead and supervise all aspects of the department, including food preparation, service delivery, and team management to ensure operational excellence.Oversee menu planning, ensuring offerings meet quality standards and customer preferences while adhering to dietary guidelines and food safety regulations.Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and maintain cost efficiency.Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth daily operations.Maintain high standards of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices across all areas of the department.Supervise banquet functions, catering events, and fine dining experiences with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth and a positive work environment.Collaborate with other departments such as catering, restaurant management, and dietary services to deliver cohesive service experiences.Ensure compliance with all health regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies related to food service management.Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation, taste, and overall guest experience to uphold brand standards.Implement inventory management strategies including ordering, stock rotation, and cost control measures.Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and a focus on resolution.QualificationsProven experience in food preperation management or hospitality leadership with a strong background in food service operations.Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants or catering services.Extensive dietary department experience including menu planning for special diets or health-conscious options.Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management.Demonstrated leadership abilities with team management skills that motivate staff toward shared goals.Familiarity with inventory control systems and food safety standards such as HACCP protocols.Experience in food handling, catering coordination, restaurant operations or related fields within the food industry.Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including cooking appliances and bartending essentials is preferred.Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to train staff effectively.Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
