Team members are encouraged by their superiors to push themselves and are provided with the resources to ensure that success is achieved.We are currently searching for aChief Engineerfor the Travelodge/ Pennys Diner of Green River WYWhy Work With UsIts a fun company to work for!We recognize efforts and reward resultsGreat benefits package including 401KPromotional opportunities with a growing companyResponsibilitiesOversee building maintenance to ensure guest and employee safetyManage HVAC plumbing electrical and fire safety systemsDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance and room care programsSupervise maintenance staff and coordinate work orders and repairsHandle minor repairs and renovation projects (carpentry painting furniture setup)Maintain pools grounds tools and equipment including chemical levels and safety standardsMonitor energy usage and implement conservation effortsInspect property daily and report major needs to the General ManagerMaintain key inventory and assist with administrative tasks as neededRequirements:Be able to manage time effectively complete required tasks on timeStrong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel Word Outlook) requiredNeed to be a team player if you like to work on an island by yourself this wont be a good fit for you!Must be able to convey information and ideas clearlyMust maintain composure and objectivity under pressureMust be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessaryMust be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guestsMust be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functionsEducation & Experience:At least 2 years of experience in a hotel environment at the Engineer or Chief Engineer level requiredHVAC certified Pool certified Technician certified and/or combination preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredStable work history requiredHMC is an equal opportunity employer.
