Job Description
The Coahoma County School District is conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Accounting or Finance2. Valid School Business Administrator/Officer Certification of 3 years experience as a School/District Business Manager/Officer preferred4. Minimum of 5 years experience in district/school finance or accounting background in non-profit or governmental accounting preferred6 Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptableRESPONSIBILITIES:Supervisesfinancial affairs of the districtBudget planning development and implementationPerformaccurate accounting practices including reconciliation of allbank accountsSupervise and coordinatesthe collection and distribution of all state and federal fundsSupervisepayroll proceduresDevelops short and long-term financialplanningto supporta healthydistrict fund balanceAdvises the Superintendent on all financial matters of the districtActs as purchasing agent for thedistrictDirects internal auditing of all accountsSupervise MSIS Personnel reporting for accuracyPerforms such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities assigned by the SuperintendentThis position is open until filled.Transcripts are required.Required Experience:Chief Key Skills General Management,Access Control,Interior,Administration Support,Client Services,Computing Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
