JOB DESCRIPTION

As CFO, this executive will direct and oversee all financial activities of the organization, serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors. This is a strategic position requiring a visionary leader capable of developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies that align with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in financial decision-making, risk management, and establishing the financial policies that guide the company's growth trajectory. Direct all fiscal reporting activities including organizational revenue/expense analysis, balance sheet reporting, stakeholder communications, tax returns, and financial transparency compliance Oversee comprehensive financial operations including budgeting, reporting, auditing, and internal controls Develop, recommend, and implement financial strategies and policies aligned with company objectives and performance targets Partner with executive leadership and Board of Directors on strategic financial planning and capital allocation decisions Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and audit requirements Supervise investment strategies, direct fundraising initiatives, and align financial tactics with sales and business development strategies Provide strategic counsel on long-term business planning, financial forecasting, and growth opportunities Evaluate and optimize all formal finance-related procedures and systems to enhance operational efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field Minimum 20 years of progressive financial experience At least 10 years in executive leadership positions with P&L responsibility Advanced knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, financial forecasting, and modeling Proficiency with MS Office suite and financial management/ERP software systems Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with publicly traded or private equity-backed companies Background in strategic financial planning and merger/acquisition activity
