Chief Pilot T-7ACompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test and Evaluation is searching for an Experimental Test Pilot to take the role of Chief Pilot T-7 and join our team in Berkeley MO or Edwards AFB CA. In this role you will lead a team of highly talented test pilots in support of T-7A flight test and production in multiple locations.Position Responsibilities:Operates aircraft and manages test pilots and first-level managers performing aircrew duties including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraftPerforms and manages activities to plan conduct and evaluate ground and test flightsLeads aircrew activities to support design effortsDevelops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectivesAcquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesManages develops trains and evaluates test pilots and first-level managersJob requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsementsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years ofexperience supporting a military flight test program10 years of experience in military tactical aviationCommercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsementsCurrent FAA Class II medical certificate or must have the ability to obtain oneAbility to pass the U.S. Air Force water survival and physiology trainingTest Pilot School (TPS) GraduatePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3 years of experience in aircraft production operationsCurrent and qualified in the T-7A or similar tactical training aircraftDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift: This position is primarily for 1st shift; however alternate and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet support program objectives.Travel:This position will require travel up to 25%.Pilot Records Database:All pilots will be screened through the current pilot records database process.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
