Weekly outpatient therapy isnt always enough and a trip to the ER isnt the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis every day wehelp people overcome depression anxiety suicidality obsessions/compulsions trauma chronic pain and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.About This RoleAs a Primary Therapist youll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of conducting individual therapy meetings collaborating with patients outpatient teams and leading patients through their overall treatment program. Youll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams including Group Therapists Family Therapists and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility and consists not only of our widest variety of programs but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings.What youll doComplete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of programProvide group and individual therapy for child and adolescent patientsProvide family therapy as neededCommunicate with patients family members or support system on a weekly basis or as neededCoordinate care with patients outside providers to ensure continuity of careCommunicate with patients home school and attend school re-entry meetingsCreate individualized weekly schedules for each patient based on needAssess patients progress and need for higher level of care transition plan and/or dischargeChart progress of patients appropriatelyComplete administrative documentation (initial treatment plans/updates discharges attendance research)Provide insurance utilization team with updatesWho you areHold the following licenses or certifications PhD PsyD LMFT LCPC LCSW ALMFT LCP or LSWA motivated and dynamic Clinician and can work effectively with families in crisis.2 years of post masters experience preferred including working with children and familiesA core skill set of CBT and DBT and prior experience working in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program are preferred.Innovative organized excellent work ethic passionate about patient care and has the ability to lead and work collaboratively with others.We know job descriptionscan be intimidating so if this sounds like an opportunity for you please dont hesitate to apply!Who We AreCompass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health bringing passion connection and patient-centered care to the PartialHospitalizationand Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP).
