Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its Behavioral Health Primary Care Clinic in Kamuela, Hawaii.This is an outpatient role focused on serving child and adolescent patients with the opportunity to see some adults as needed. The ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of experience and comfortable working in a rural environment. This organization has a family-like atmosphere and members pride themselves on providing crucial medical services to a rural community on the north end of the Big Island. Enjoy meaningful work and experience all that the beautiful city has to offer.Position Details:Full time positionOperating hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Outpatient care onlySupported by 3 providers and other support staffPediatric/Adolescent medication management and long-acting injectable managementNo call requirementTypically see 8 to 10 patients per day with the opportunity to inherit a patient panel or build your ownCompensation & Benefits:Compensation is between $324,960 and $357,456 per year$25,000 relocation assistanceCME funds and daysBenefits include health, vision, dental and retirementQualifications & Requirements:Must be board-certified/board-eligible MD/DO in the state of Hawaii5+ years of experience preferredExperience or certifications in Pediatric/Adolescent medication managementComfortable working in a rural environmentNew graduates are welcome to applyJ1 and H1-B candidates are welcome to applyWhere You'll WorkOn Hawai'i's Big Island, Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities.
