Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:ABA TherapistSummary: Responsible for providing intensive, 1:1, behavior intervention services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Clients include children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other language delays. Responsibilities:Providing direct 1:1 therapy session Implementing all skill acquisition programs & maintenance programsCollecting accurate dataImplementing all behavior protocols & FBA/BIPs as providedCompletes insurance forms dailyCompletes daily cleaning checklistAttends & implements feedback from weekly supervision with POD ManagersContacts POD Manager when appropriate with pertinent information for each clientAttends & maintains all outside training certifications (CPI, CPR, First Aid, etc.)Obtain & maintains RBT certificationFollows all mandated reporter standardsWorks well with team & demonstrates professionalism in workplaceDemonstrates creativity & “think outside the box” attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clientsConsistently builds rapport with clients & families to achieve best possible outcomesPhysical Requirements:Lifting/Carrying more than 50lbsRunningAble to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any areaCrouching, squatting, kneeling for sustained periods of timeBending at the waist to touch knees and/or toesFull range of motion of hands and armsSitting on floor and chair for long periods of timeAbility to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without supportCommunicates expressively and receptively both verbally and written Qualifications:High School Diploma, Associates degree from accredited university or college in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field with applicable experience or a Bachelors degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education or a related fieldFlexible, creative, & possessing excellent time management skillsExperience in ABA programs is preferred, but not requiredI have reviewed the above job description and feel I can fulfill the requirements of this position.Signature: _________________________________________ Date: _______________________Requirements:
