Job Description
Description: Manages all operations including handling money conductinghiringinterviews counseling employees training creating work schedules completing employee performance evaluations cooking prepping cleaning record keeping planning and all duties as required.This kitchen produces breakfast and lunch meals for several grade schools. Must havemass food production/transport knowledge. Thorough understanding of USDA and KSDE regulations and the ability to teach staff. Direct staff in the preparation of food items. Ensure kitchen sanitization maintain equipment hold employees accountable and provide positive leadership.Regularly measure and evaluate service levels with student feedback and develop plans for continuous improvement. Drive cafeteria profitability by ensuring excellent serviceexecuting marketing techniques and reducing to coaching and developingschool kitchenteam.Other responsibilities include inventory ordering supplies preparing payroll marketing cateringConditions of employment: 9-month employment.8 hours per day.Qualifications: HS or equivalent is required. Degree in business management or hospitality is preferred. At leasttwo years of successful restaurant management experience is required. The preferred candidate must posess positive people management skillsadvanced skills in verbal communication excellent customer service skills proven experience in conflict resolution and have a high energy qualifications arethe ability to plan and organize foster teamwork give feedbackmulti-task and have experience inbudget require the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for up to8 hours.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Events,IT Audit,Land Survey,Accountancy,Contract Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
