This role plays an important part in ensuring children receive healthy, balanced meals daily. When not preparing meals, you will also have opportunities to support classrooms and help create a collaborative and joyful environment.What You Will DoPlan and prepare nutritious meals for children that meet proper nutritional guidelinesMaintain and track food allergies and communicate them to teachers with every meal deliveryFollow proper food safety, handling, and sanitation proceduresPartner with the Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies and maintain accurate inventory recordsProvide excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward parents, children, and team membersDemonstrate flexibility to support the daily operational needs of the childcare centerColorado RequirementsMust have or be able to obtain a food handling certificate within 90 days of hireMust be able to lift at least 25 poundsWhat We Are Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentOne or more years of experience in food preparation or cooking preferredPositive, reliable, and highly attentive to safety and detailPassion for supporting children and contributing to a nurturing childcare environmentWhy You Will Love TLE TimnathNo nights or weekendsSupportive and welcoming team environmentCareer growth and training opportunitiesCompetitive pay, benefits, and childcare discounts
