Childcare Teacher Assistant (PRN Flexible) at ChildServe

DescriptionWe are looking for a caring and energetic member to join ChildServe as a Childcare Teacher Assistant. This individual will contribute to a positive nurturing environment that is safe clean and organized for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years old. Childcare Teachers at ChildServe encourage childrens overall development through appropriate play-based activities and working collaboratively with families.Schedule and CompensationThe starting pay for this position is $13/hour. Flexible hours during hours of operation. Our center is open Monday-Friday between 6:30 AM and 6 PM. Full-Time opportunities also available. How Youll Make an ImpactProvide routine care for infants and children including diapering/personal cares hygiene support hand washing and serving meals and snacks.Maintain a safe environment through constant supervision adherence to staff/child ratios accurate name-to-face attendance and consistent assessment of childrens general health with timely reporting of concerns.Support a clean organized and structured environmentindoors and outdoorsby following Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) strategies.Deliver exceptional customer service to families and complete all required documentation accurately and within established deadlines.Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and participating in required training sessions staff meetings and annual professional development.What Youll Need:Ability to meet health and safety requirements including passing a ChildServe physical exam and adhering to any applicable COVID-19 protocols.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs remain mobile in classroom and playground environments and perform frequent bending lifting reaching and standing.Ability to obtain First Aid CPR Mandatory Reporter Standard Precautions and DHS Pre-Service Essential Training certifications within 90 days of hire.Effective communication skills in reading writing and speaking the English language.High school diploma or GED required; prior experience providing care and supervision for children preferred.Not sure if you hit 100% of the position expectations Lets talk!
