For SHOWS youll visit schools libraries camps and more to deliver AMAZING science presentations that will WOW your audiences of 15-250 kids! We provide the training and equipment and handle all the booking and scheduling from our office. All you do is go have fun with the kids!Shows and parties happen ALL THE TIME! This is a part-time job but we prefer someone with a flexible schedule who can take on many gigs when given plenty of notice.You will typically work 3 Saturdays per month normally between the hours of noon and 5pm and some Sundays. You can work more hours on Sundays and other days/evenings is youd like doing our science shows.Requirements:An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personalityEnjoys performing in front of an audience (birthday parties typically 10-25 children)Experience with groups of children ages 4-12Some experience in theater a plus.Reliable transportationExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 25 lbsMust be able to travel to our Wheeling office to pick up supplies a few times a monthMust be available at least 3 Saturdays a monthKnowledge of basic science (dont worry - well train the rest!)Lots of ENERGYAll employees will need to pass a criminal background checkSuccessful candidates are also:Responsible - able to conduct programs safely and efficientlyReliable - always on time always preparedAdaptable - able to adjust to every environment and group typeProfessional - comfortable dealing with everyone from parents to principalsFlexible - able to function in a business where schedules and workloads are at the mercy of the customerFUN!!!
