Johnson County Government is collaborating with Sunflower House-a children's advocacy and abuse prevention center addressing abuse and neglect- seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our Children's Services Program. The position is based at Sunflower House where the Clinician will work as part of a treatment team and provide trauma focused evidence-based clinical services to children. To learn more about Johnson County Mental Health, you can view this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vyAvQQsAo0 Incentives:Skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff with licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.Generous paid leave to ensure work-life balance.Comprehensive health insurance for you and your family.Job DescriptionResponsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments during intake, ongoing services, and crisis intervention.* Develop and implement complex treatment and intervention plans.* Provide psychotherapy and other therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families.* Complete and submit clinical documentation, evaluating and documenting progress. Job RequirementsQualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field.Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master's level in the area of focus.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Preferred Qualifications: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level; licensed as a Masters or Clinical Addiction Counselor by the Behavioral Health Sciences Regulatory Board with the State of Kansas, experience in a community health setting.Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
