Johnson County Government is collaborating with Sunflower House-a children's advocacy and abuse prevention center addressing abuse and neglect- seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our Children's Services Program. The position is based at Sunflower House where the Clinician will work as part of a treatment team and provide trauma focused evidence-based clinical services to children. Job RequirementsQualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field.Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master's level in the area of focus.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Preferred Qualifications: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level; licensed as a Masters or Clinical Addiction Counselor by the Behavioral Health Sciences Regulatory Board with the State of Kansas, experience in a community health setting.Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
