Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryGreat Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking warm, energetic, and dedicated Teachers and Teacher Assistants to join our childcare team! We are a nurturing, faith-inspired early learning environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and a genuine love for children.In these roles, you will support the developmental, social, and emotional growth of young learners through engaging activities, positive guidance, and a safe, structured classroom environment. Teachers and Assistants work together to implement age-appropriate curriculum, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, communicate with families, and contribute to a joyful, supportive center culture.If you are passionate about early childhood education, dependable, and excited to make a meaningful impact each day, we would love to meet you!DutiesAssist in the development and implementation of lesson plans based on the A Beka Book Christian curriculum, child engagement, and educational activities.Maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and decorating the classroom/collecting materials.Maintain frequent communications with parents through the BrightWheel App, verbal and written communications, and progress reports.Being Aware of and following all center policies and state regulations.Maintain personal professional development through continuing education credits provided by the center or independently, as approved and according to the Licensing Standards and center policies.Maintaining a positive attitude and understanding of child development.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.CDA, AA, BA, teacher’s credential or equivalent.High energy.Ability to work well with others.Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. An understanding of child development.Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. Nice To Haves- Experience with the A Beka Book Curriculum.- Experience with the BrightWheel App.- Medical Administration Training (MAT) Certificate.- Daily Health Observation (DHO)- CDA, 90 clock hours, 12 university credits in a child related field, AA in Early Childhood Education, B.A. in a child related field.
