Circuit Breaker Technician at Staffmark Group

Seeking a Breaker Technician (Circuit Breaker Technician) to provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair, testing, and upgrading of low- to medium-voltage circuit breakers and electrical distribution equipment. This role combines shop work with potential field service, providing opportunities to support industrial clients both onsite and remotely.Location: Queen Creek, AZSchedule: Full-Time, Four 10s (Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm)PAY RANGE: $30-$34 based on experienceKey Responsibilities Build, refurbish, rebuild, and repair circuit breakers, contactors, grounding devices, and other switchgear Test equipment per IEEE/ANSI and Powell standards using tools such as Megger, Hi-Pot, multimeter, and injection sets Perform electrical and mechanical upgrades on customer equipment (e.g., control voltage changes, current rating upgrades, under-voltage or second-trip device installation) Provide remote technical support for internal teams and external customers Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Quality Assurance teams Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role with low/medium voltage breakers (480V to 25kV) Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical systems, and electrical test equipment Strong understanding of electrical theory, safety standards, and industrial applications PEARL certification a plus Skills & Abilities Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfortable with shop and field environments, potentially including travel Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality standards After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
