Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Civil EngineerJob DescriptionSupport civil engineering design for renewable energy, storage, utility transmission, and related projects. Perform stormwater compliance inspections for ongoing projects. Prepare stormwater management plans (including SWPPPs) and conduct hydrologic modeling. Support nationwide engineering and design initiatives with construction administration tasks, including submittal review, RFIs, and site visits. Prepare plans, drawings, and design documentation under supervision of project managers and engineering leads. Maintain safety awareness at all times and report health and safety concerns. Pursue continuous professional development to build technical knowledge and industry awareness. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesSupport civil engineering design for renewable energy and related projects.Perform stormwater compliance inspections.Prepare stormwater management plans and conduct hydrologic modeling.Support engineering and design initiatives with construction administration tasks.Prepare plans, drawings, and design documentation under supervision.Maintain safety awareness and report health and safety concerns.Pursue continuous professional development.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.1–3 years of professional engineering experience.Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Civil 3D, land development, stormwater, grading, and erosion.HEC-RAS and site development experience.Civil design and drainage knowledge.Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.Work EnvironmentWork two days in the office and three days out of the office each week, with potential variations based on workload and project progress.
